Horse Life isn’t for the faint of heart

Since I was a little girl I have always wanted my own horse. I had a best friend who had a horse who I got to ride which was so much fun! My uncle had a horse named Pokey and she was fun too! Sadly I was never able to get my own until three years ago!! I finally got my first horse!!

Getting Moon was a huge blessing. I was in a really dark place after my grandpa passed away. It’s pretty crazy how an animal can help you through some of your darkest times. Two years ago I got into a pretty bad horse accident. Not on my horse but someone else’s. These people were suppose to be trusted horse trainers turns out they are not. They told me I wasn’t good for Moon because he was already broke and shouldn’t have to teach someone else how to ride. Bull crap!! They blamed me for everything that happened on their horse. It was awful and something I never want anyone to ever go through. Something huge about me is I have 2 rods and 22 screws in my spine. That accident messed me up for months. I debated on selling Moon because I was terrified. Once again that horse took care of me. I got back on him and I was able to work through the trauma.

I realized I am as good for him as anyone. He makes me better and I will never let someone get into my head like that again.

Fast forward to a year ago we made a huge move from Southern Idaho to Northern Idaho. My best friend brought the horses a few months later. Yes you heard me right horses 😜

Meet Shaina she was my best friends childhood horses that wasn’t being taken care of by her parents sadly. She asked me if I was able to take her and give her a good retirement home. I told her yes because Moon would be out here all alone and I didn’t want that. She is now fiance and kid accepted. 🤣 This winter she coliced on us and we thought we were gonna loose her but thanks to our efforts she pulled through and is perfectly healthy 😊 Kyle has never liked the fact of horses but now he loves this horse and so do my kids ❤️
